Members of NERMEN have coordinated and participated in state-wide and national trainings to inform Extension Educators, and their collaborating partners, about the latest research on relationship development and marriage and to prepare them for designing, delivering and evaluating educational programs that support healthy couple and marital relationships. Also, to prepare professionals and particularly Extension Educators, to successfully develop, implement, and evaluate relationship and marriage enrichment programming, NERMEN is developing the following professional development resource: Promoting Healthy Relationships and Marriages: A Trainers Guide to Effective Programming. (Based on presentations from the 2006 Family Life E-Seminar.
